About Us

Ballet At Your School, Inc. has been in Miami-Dade County since 1980.  We have a well established reputation in a number of pre-schools, day care centers and Montessori Schools.

 

Ballet At Your School uses a unique concept of bringing dance classes into the private schools and child care centers.  Once a week a Ballet At Your School instructor transforms a class room into a dance studio.  The instructor teaches small personalized 45 minute classes to those students enrolled in the program.  At the end of the school year, the children participate in a performance to demonstrate what they have learned during the school year.

 

Ballet At Your School has a wonderful staff of instructors.  Some of them are students majoring in dance and/or early childhood education at the various colleges and universities throughout South Florida.  Others are mothers who have danced professionally and now have families and want to pass on their love of dance to a new generation.  All of the teachers enjoy working with pre-school age children.

 

The various classes include but are not limited to warm up exercises, beginning ballet, and creative movement.  Ballet At Your School brings all the equipment that is necessary for the class.

 

The children enjoy their classes very much and look forward to "Ballet Day" with great anticipation.  The parents appreciate having the classes at school, as it is very difficult for them to find time to take their children to classes in the evenings or on the weekends.  Thus, Ballet At Your School encourages the school's enrollment and helps maintain it by offering a high quality and fun enrichment program for both the children and their parents.
