Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When is my tuition due?

A: All parents will receive a monthly statement.  The tuition is due on the 1st of the month.

Q: Are there any penalties for late payments?

A: If payment is not received in the office by the 20th of the month, there will be a $15 late payment fee.  Also, please note that there is a $25 fee for any returned checks.

Q: Where do I submit my payments to?

A: Payments are to be mailed directly to Ballet At Your School.

Q: What are the accepted forms of payment? 

A: Cash or check. We do not accept Venmo, PayPal, or Credit Cards.

Q: How long are the ballet classes? 

A: 45 minutes long.

Q: What is the required attire for Ballet classes?

A: Girls: Light Pink leotard (spaghetti straps or tank top style), white socks, pink ballet leather shoes with elastic band (no bedroom satin slippers).

     Boys: Black bicycle shorts, white T-shirt, Black ballet shoes and white socks.

Q: What is the required attire for Ballet performances?

A: Girls: Light Pink leotard (spaghetti straps or tank top style), Light Pink (footed) tights and Pink leather ballet shoes.

     Boys: Black bicycle shorts, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes, and white socks.

Q: How do you avoid mixing up a child's belongings?

A:We recommend parents to label their child's clothing, ballet leather shoes, bags, etc.

 

Q: Does Ballet At Your School have a performance date?

A: There will be a performance in either April or May.  The date will be announced in advance.

 

Q: Who is invited to attend the performance?

A:Anyone is invited to attend.

 

Q: Are there any fees associated with performances?

A: There will be a nominal performance and costume rental fee.

 

Q: Are there any make-up classes or refunds?

A: If there is a legal holiday or your child's school is closed, there will not be a make-up for this class.  Also, there will also be no refunds or make-up classes for missed classes.  The tuition will remain the same under any circumstance and no classes will be held on the day of the performance.

 

Q: Where can I purchase dancewear?

A: A dancewear store or a local store (such as Target and Walmart)

 

Q: Where can I purchase ballet shoes?
A: A dancewear store or a local store (such as some Payless Shoe stores)
